Matheus "Mat" Lopes is a self-taught Brazilian colorist born in 1991, who began learning his craft through online message boards. He has worked regularly in the comic industry since 2012, collaborating with most major U.S. publishers, including Marvel, DC, Image, and Dark Horse. Matheus is passionate about the use of light in natural environments and about designing color harmony through varied approaches to storytelling in comics.
