Craig Kyle is an American comic book writer, film producer, and media creator, born on November 3, 1971. He is best known for his work with Marvel Comics, particularly for co-creating the character X-23, a female clone of Wolverine, alongside his frequent collaborator, Christopher Yost. This character was first introduced in the animated TV series X-Men: Evolution before making her way into the comics. Kyle and Yost later expanded her story in two notable mini-series, X-23: Innocence Lost and X-23: Target X.

Throughout his career, Kyle has contributed significantly to the X-Men franchise. He worked on the series New X-Menand X-Force, which featured a darker tone and focused on black-ops missions led by Wolverine. His creative vision extended beyond comics into television and film, where he produced and wrote for various Marvel direct-to-DVD animated films, including Hulk Vs. and Planet Hulk.

Kyle also made his mark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), co-writing the screenplay for Thor: Ragnarok and contributing as a producer on Thor: The Dark World. His ability to navigate both the animated and live-action worlds of Marvel has cemented him as a versatile and influential figure in the comic book industry
