Brian Buccellato is a #1 New York Times best-selling author and screenwriter, known for his work on DC Comics’ The Flash, Injustice, and Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong. His recent projects include Head Wounds (with Legendary & Oscar Isaac), Chicken Devil (AfterShock), and Image Comics’ Midlife (How to Hero at Fifty!) and No/One, which launched in 2023 alongside an in-world true-crime podcast.

Raised in Queens by a single Puerto Rican mother, Brian took the long road in life—dropping out of high school and college—and gained a wealth of experience that now informs the grounded characters and worlds he creates. Despite his professional success, his most meaningful role is being a father to his adult son and two young daughters.
